Our Classic lightweight jacket is back once again in a new Teal and Black Stripe colourway! This is a timeless wardrobe staple that was a best seller in our previous Green Stripe colourway from the Checkmate Capsule Collection.

With a crisp collar, two front pockets, and cropped hem to sit on the hips, this jacket is the perfect lightweight travel jacket to throw over your daytime outfit as the sun is going down at a picnic or layered over a basic skivvy or t-shirt. The wrist hem can easily be rolled to create a cuff, as the jacket is lined in matching hand-loomed khadi cotton making it breathable and fresh feeling on the skin. A great piece to create strong lines in the silhouette of your outfit, its bold stripes will make it a great piece to team with a pair of smart pants for a work statement, as with a crisp cotton dress or as a casual replacement for a denim jacket.

Printed using hand-carved blocks in an iconic The ANJELMS Project block, the thick Teal and black stripes will pair perfectly with a slate colour underneath – try a bold orange to make the teal pop or a neutral navy blue or black to pare back your look and keep it casual.

As always, our garments are designed in Fremantle, Western Australia. Made ethically from 100% hand-loomed Khadi Cotton in Pushkar, India by The Stitching Project. Designs are hand carved onto wooden blocks. Then Pawan, our block printer at The Stitching Project places each block onto the ink board. This process is repeated a hundred times over with amazing precision and experience to create the perfect patterns. All our dyes are Global Organic Textile Standards (G.O.T.S) Certified, and our fabric and processes are Craftmark Certified. Each of our Garments is proudly signed by every craftsperson who has had a hand in making it.
